The Commission

• And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:18.19) (Mk 16:15)
  
  
• "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.(Matt 10:8)
  
  
• "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Matt 5:14.16)
  
  
• and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. (Eph 5:2)
  
  
• For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. (Mt 13:12)

Overcoming Obstacles

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Fear, lack of courage

• For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!" (Rom 8:15)
  
  
• For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. (2 Tim 1:7)

No opportunities

• Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. "Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest." (Matt 9:36-38)

Rejection

• to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. (Eph 1:6)
  
  
• For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Rom 1:16)

Lack of Education and Training

• Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us (Eph 3:20)
  
  
• for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say." (Luke 12:12)
